About me
Welcome to Little Wasi Childcare, founded by me, Silvia Solorzano, an experienced childcare professional with over 15 years of experience in the early education field. I began my journey as a private nanny before moving on to work in licensed daycares, gaining valuable experience along the way. In November 2022, I decided to pursue my passion for childcare and opened my own business, Little Wasi Childcare, located in Eugene, Oregon.
I strive to create a welcoming environment where children feel at home. My goal is to teach children important values such as respect, solidarity, camaraderie, and empathy through playful activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. My Spanish dual language program is a unique aspect of Little Wasi, and I love to teach the language through games and songs, making learning fun and engaging for children.
